Photo Scavenger Hunt

Hunt will begin at Calvary Church at 1:30pm

$500 cash prize for the
team that receives the highest points
 
 

This Photo Scavenger Hunt will take you around St. Charles County by using a smartphone  app that sends out missions. Your team will document and submit these photo missions via the app.
 

Awards, Celebration Dinner and Silent Auction to be held at 5pm in the Calvary Church Gym
 

 Instructions

  1. Download the free iPhone or Android Goosechase app (not available for Blackberry)
  2. Register -Your user name will be the name you created for your team when checking out.
  3. Create a password
  4. Select add a game to get started
  5. Type in Malawi Madness
  6. Select Malawi Madness and it should appear on your Goosechase homepage. Click on the game and enter the password provided in the email you received upon registering.
  7. All missions will become available as soon as the game begins on the date of the event. You will  have three and half hours to complete as many of the missions as possible for points.
  8. Select the mission you want to complete and click Snap Evidence. The camera feature on your phone will be activated so you can snap the evidence for that specific mission.
  9. Once you are satisfied with your picture click Use and then Submit Evidence.
  10. That mission will then be moved to the Completed page. Missions only require one photo so remaining missions will only then be shown on the home screen.
  11. You can also view the rankings of other teams and all photos by clicking on the icons at the bottom.
  12. Continue until you have completed all missions posshave been completed by your team.

 

Game Rules

  1. Everyone on your team needs to participate. You will need all team members to WIN.
  2. The game will start on Sunday, May 5th Cinco De Mayo at 1:30pm and the game will end at 5pm CST.
  3. New missions called Flash missions will be loaded at any time so be sure to check back often.
  4. All pictures must be real. Computer images and screen shots are prohibited.
  5. If for any reason your photo does not meet the mission description, your photo may be deleted by the judges. That mission will then reappear on your Remaining missions screen.
  6. If you wish to retake a photo, you can delete it and the mission will be added back to your Remaining mission list.
  7. A $500 Cash Prize will be awarded to the team at the top of the leader board.
  8. If missions call for “all team members” it means it.  You may have to get creative.
  9. All missions will be completed in St. Charles County.
